The City of Angus Volunteer Fire Department's mission is to protect and enhance the quality of life for all citizens and visitors from the adverse effects of natural and man-made emergencies. Our goal is to provide a protection program through a cost-efficient approach to emergency response, fire code application and public fire education. Angus VFD is a voluntary orginization and appreciates and welcomes support and input from the residents of Angus.
We are always looking for new members. If you are interested in joining the Angus VFD, please contact Chief Jerry Newsom, the Angus City Hall , or any member of our fire department for an application.
Monthly meetings of the Angus VFD are held on the 2nd Monday of each month at 7:00 p.m. at the Angus City Hall. The public is always welcome.
In the event of a fire, or if you need medical assistance, please dial 911 or call the Navarro County Sheriff's Office and emergency vehicles will be dispatched to your location.
